Wemade Max Sets July 10 for Global Launch Of ‘Lost Sword’

KUALA LUMPUR, June 25 (Bernama) -- South Korean game publisher Wemade Max has announced the global launch of its subculture mobile role-playing game (RPG), “Lost Sword”, scheduled for July 10.

In a statement, the company said the game, developed by Codecat and published by Wemade Max’s subsidiary Wemade Connect, was first released in the Korean market in January and received positive feedback for its dynamic presentation, unique character designs and advanced optimisation.

Wemade Connect Business Director, Song Moon-ha said Lost Sword’s unique RPG elements have attracted a broad global audience.

“We will remain committed to delivering engaging content and customised promotions that meet the needs of players following the official global launch,” he said.

Following its domestic success, Lost Sword will now be introduced in global markets including North America and Europe.

The company also said that pre-registration, which began on May 20, has surpassed 500,000 users, with strong interest observed particularly in North America and Europe.

To commemorate the milestone, Wemade Max will offer all pre-registered users in-game rewards including diamonds, gold and the five-star healer character, Guinevere. These rewards will be available at launch to those who register by July 9.
