KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 22 (Bernama) -- SP Setia Bhd has appointed Tan Hwa Min as deputy chief executive officer (CEO) (effective Nov 17), and Datuk Yuslina Mohd Yunus as chief operating officer (COO), (effective Oct 1), following the appointment of Datuk Zaini Yusoff as president and CEO (effective Oct 1).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the property developer said the appointments are in line with its robust leadership talent agenda, as it continues to advance internal talents while attracting external high-calibre professionals to strengthen its leadership team.

SP Setia said Tan currently serves as chief strategy officer at IJM Corporation Bhd and managing director at IJM RE Sdn Bhd, and has 15 years of experience in property development and strategic transformation.

“Prior to that, Tan was the COO of TRX City Sdn Bhd, where he played a key role in the development of the Tun Razak Exchange,” it added.

Meanwhile, Yuslina, formerly from I&P Group, joined SP Setia in 2018 and is currently serving as the company’s senior executive vice-president.

Her role at SP Setia includes overseeing six major townships, stakeholder operations, asset management and the SP Setia Foundation.
