SC Names Six Companies For Maiden MyABE Pilot Cohort

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 6 (Bernama) -- The Securities Commission (SC) has announced six companies selected for the maiden Malaysian ASEAN Business Entity (MyABE) cohort initiative.

The SC said in a statement today that the MyABE-status comprises two categories, MyABE-PLC for public listed companies with established regional operations and MyABE-MTC for mid-tier companies that demonstrate strong potential for further growth across ASEAN.

The three MyABE-public listed companies selected are CIMB Group Holdings Bhd, IHH Healthcare Bhd and Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd.

The companies selected under MyABE-mid-tier companies are Aonic Sdn Bhd, MECIP Global Engineers Sdn Bhd and NSW Automation Sdn Bhd.

SC chairman Datuk Mohammad Faiz Azmi said the MyABE status recognises Malaysian champions that are growing beyond borders and creating value across ASEAN.

“Their expansion strengthens regional supply chains and drives growth for the wider region. This pilot will enable us to fine-tune the support needed for more companies to do the same while easing skilled talent movement,” he said.
