KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 14 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher, in tandem with a positive underlying cash market.

At the close, January 2026 and March 2026 added 6.0 points each to 1,711.0 and 1,697.0, respectively, while February 2026 rose 6.5 points to 1,716.0 and June 2026 jumped 8.5 points to 1,700.5.

Turnover widened to 8,556 lots from 6,885 lots on Tuesday, while open interest rose to 42,934 contracts from 41,659 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 2.71 points, or 0.16 per cent, to 1,710.91 from Tuesday’s close of 1,708.20.
