Sunview Unit Wins RM289.71 Mln Solar Power Plant Contract

KUALA LUMPUR, March 5 (Bernama) -- Sunview Group Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Fabulous Sunview Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM289.71 million contract from Malakoff Evergreen Sdn Bhd to develop a solar photovoltaic power plant in Bintulu, Sarawak.

Malakoff Evergreen is a 70.0 per cent-owned subsidiary of Tuah Utama Sdn Bhd, which in turn is wholly-owned by Malakoff Corporation Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Sunview said that barring any unforeseen circumstances, the project is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings of Sunview and its subsidiaries over the duration of the project.
