Binastra Net Profit Rises To RM133.49 Mln For FY2026

KUALA LUMPUR, March 26 (Bernama) -- Binastra Corporation Bhd's net profit rose to RM133.49 million for the financial year ended Jan 31, 2026 (FY2026) from RM90.26 million in the preceding year.

Its FY2026 revenue also increased to RM1.50 billion compared with RM946.6 million in the previous financial year.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing, the engineering services company said the increase in profit and revenue on the fourth quarter (4Q FY2025) was mainly due to its construction segment primarily driven by the its wholly owned subsidiary, Binastra Builders Sdn Bhd (BBSB).

For the 4Q FY2026, Binastra posted a higher net profit of RM42.4 million compared to RM25.1 million in the previous corresponding quarter while its revenue also jumped to RM477.2 million from RM270.2 million recorded in 4Q FY2025.

"The higher revenue reported in BBSB was mainly attributable to an increased number of ongoing projects during the quarter. In addition, the segment’s performance was further strengthened by the contribution from the newly acquired 51 per cent-owned subsidiary, LF Lansen.

"This segment is expected to remain the principal contributor to the group’s revenue and profitability, and further enhance the group’s performance moving forward," it said in the filing.

"The group’s commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) leadership remains steadfast, and will continue enhancing ESG practices to align with evolving global standards," it said.

Binastra added that the private sector remains robust, with increased interest in industrial, residential and commercial developments, particularly in high-growth regions such as the Greater Klang Valley, Johor, and Sabah and Sarawak.

The group has declared a final single-tier interim dividend of 3.5 sen per share for FY2026, payable on April 24, 2026.
