Daniel Doughty Re-Elected CILTM Sabah Chairman

LABUAN, March 28 (Bernama) --  Daniel Doughty has been re-elected chairman of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Malaysia (CILTM) Sabah Section at its 2025 annual general meeting (AGM), reflecting continued confidence in his leadership.

Deputy chairman Mohd Faizal Malik also retained his position.

The AGM in Kota Kinabalu also confirmed the appointment of Azrahwani E. Sabin as secretary and Karen Rachel Sugai as treasurer, along with executive committee members Rose Wong, Oscar Gilbert George Francis, and Shahrul Safwan Najwan Faisyal.

In his remarks, Doughty thanked outgoing committee members for their contributions.

“We extended our sincere appreciation to our former exco members who had served with commitment and integrity...their contributions form the foundation we continue to build on,” he told Bernama today.

The AGM was attended by CILT Malaysia deputy president Zawiah Abdul Majid. She said CILTM Sabah has been active in engaging stakeholders and contributing to discussions on logistics and transport development in the state, including advocating greater alignment within Sabah’s transport framework.

Zawiah said the Sabah chapter has played a role in strengthening industry engagement and policy discourse. “CILTM Sabah has demonstrated relevance and consistent engagement in industry matters, contributing to ongoing developments in the transport sector,” she added.
