KLCI Futures Lower In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, April 9 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Thursday. 

At 9.36 am, the April 2026 and June 2026 contracts both declined by 13.5 points to 1,683.0 and 1,682.0, respectively, while May 2026 fell by 12.5 points to 1,684.5, and September 2026 declined by 13.0 points to 1,662.0. 

Turnover stood at 2,048 lots, with open interest at 35,665 contracts.

After 36 minutes of trading, the FBM KLCI eased 9.92 points to 1,686.39 from Wednesday’s close of 1,696.31.
