KLCI Futures Open Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, May 6 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened higher on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives today, tracking gains in the cash market.

At 9.46 am, the spot-month May 2026 contract rose 14.0 points to 1,761.5, the June 2026 contract added 13.5 points to 1,760.5, the September 2026 contract gained 15.0 points to 1,744.0, and the December 2026 contract edged up 5.5 points to 1,739.0. 

Turnover stood at 3,131 lots, while open interest totalled 34,799 contracts.

After 60 minutes of trading, the FBM KLCI improved 6.05 points to 1,753.48 from Tuesday’s close of 1,747.43.
