HLB Facilitates Access To BNM’s SME Stabilisation Relief Facility
KUALA LUMPUR, May 18 (Bernama) -- Hong Leong Bank Bhd (HLB) is facilitating access to Bank Negara Malaysia’s (BNM) SME Stabilisation Relief Facility (SME SRF) to support micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) facing operational disruptions and cash flow challenges arising from the ongoing conflict in West Asia.
The bank said that the facility is designed as a working capital solution to help viable businesses bridge short-term liquidity gaps and meet their financial obligations without compromising long-term growth.
“Under this facility, eligible SMEs can apply for financing of up to RM750,000 to be utilised specifically for working capital requirements at financing rates of up to 3.75 per cent per annum, with a financing tenure of up to five years.
"The facility is backed by a guarantee cover of up to 80 per cent from either the Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Bhd or Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan Bhd," it said in a statement.
Applications are open from May 15 until Dec 31, 2026, or until the RM5 billion allocation is fully utilised, the bank said, adding that HLB customers are encouraged to contact their relationship managers for further details.
