UDA Launches Sustainability-Driven Residensi Mutiara
JOHOR BAHRU, May 20 (Bernama) -- Property and asset management company UDA Holdings Bhd has launched its latest housing project, Residensi Mutiara, which incorporates sustainable development features.
UDA chief executive officer Datuk Seri Ahmad Fuaad Kenali said the project reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to develop homes that meet current needs, while also providing more people with opportunities to own quality homes at competitive prices.
He said the project, expected to be completed in June 2029, incorporates sustainable development principles aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.
“These (features) include the use of solar street lights, solar photovoltaic systems, and rainwater harvesting tanks in the clubhouse as well as water-efficient toilets and water-saving fixtures,” he said in a statement today.
Ahmad Fuaad said the project, with 50 units priced from RM548,700, highlights the concepts of exclusivity, space flexibility, and a modern community lifestyle through practical, spacious design and layout.
He said the project offers two residential types, namely two-storey townhouses with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and three-storey townhouses with three bedrooms and four bathrooms, with freehold status and areas ranging from 1,259 square feet (sq ft) to 3,627 sq ft.
“We also offer a gated community environment with 24-hour security, as well as facilities such as a community hall with a cafe area, activity room and multi-purpose space,” he said.
He said the residence is also equipped with family-friendly garden elements and interior spaces that support interaction and togetherness, in addition to highlighting the potential of the dual key concept, suitable for large families or siblings who want to live close together while maintaining their own access and space.
UDA said the project, which is also designed to cater to the needs of professionals and young families, is also close to several major routes, making it an ideal choice for those working in Singapore.
The agency under the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development (KUSKOP) said it also provides various attractive offers specifically designed to help buyers own this home more easily, including down payments as low as RM1,000 or two per cent, exemptions from legal fees and stamp duty, and flexible payment schemes to accommodate differences in bank loans.
The public can obtain more information via UDA’s website at https://www.uda.com.my or on its Instagram (@uda_official) and Facebook (UDA Holdings Berhad) pages.
