InterSystems, 59stVentures To Support AI-Ready Data Ecosystems In ASEAN

KUALA LUMPUR, May 29 (Bernama) -- InterSystems, a creative data technology provider, has partnered with 59stVentures to support the development of interoperable and artificial intelligence (AI)-ready data ecosystems across ASEAN and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

The partnership combines InterSystems’ data platforms and interoperability technologies with 59stVentures’ regional digital transformation capabilities to help organisations integrate fragmented data and accelerate AI adoption, according to a statement.

InterSystems Regional Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Luciano Brustia said the collaboration would help organisations across ASEAN accelerate AI adoption and deploy scalable data solutions aligned with regional operational and regulatory requirements.

Meanwhile, 59stVentures Chief Strategy Officer and Managing Director, Jim Lim said organisations across Southeast Asia are moving quickly to adopt AI technologies but remain constrained by fragmented data environments.

Many organisations across ASEAN continue to face challenges from siloed data spread across multiple systems and formats, limiting their ability to generate unified insights and scale digital transformation initiatives.

Together, InterSystems and 59stVentures will tackle these barriers, empowering organisations to integrate, harmonise, and activate their data for scalable AI adoption, real-time analytics, and more informed decision-making.

InterSystems said its platforms, including InterSystems IRIS and InterSystems IRIS for Health, support standards-based data exchange and AI-ready application development across sectors such as healthcare, supply chain management and smart cities.

The partnership aims to help enterprises and public sector agencies transition from reactive operations to truly predictive, adaptive, and resilient models. It will initially focus on healthcare applications, including interoperable medical records systems and broader data visibility, while also supporting supply chain and urban infrastructure initiatives.
