Muhibbah Bags RM300 Mln LNG Regasification Terminal Contract In Lumut

KUALA LUMPUR, June 8 (Bernama) -- Muhibbah Engineering (M) Bhd has secured a RM300 million engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contract from Lumut Maritime Terminal Sdn Bhd (LMTSB).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction company said the contract is for the EPCC of LNG Regasification Terminal 3 (RGT3) marine structure and ancillary works, at Lumut Maritime Terminal 2 (LMT2) in Manjung, Perak.

Muhibbah said it received a letter of award from LMTSB on May 15, 2026, with the contract commencing in May 2026 and a completion date of July 1, 2028.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the group's earnings and net assets during the contract period for the current and subsequent financial years,” it added.
