KLCI Futures Open Easier

KUALA LUMPUR, June 9 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Tuesday, tracking the weaker underlying cash market performance.

At 9.40 am, the June 2026 contract eased four points to 1,669.5, July 2026 down 3.5 points to 1,672.0 and September 2026 shed 3.5 points to 1,652.5, while December 2026 stood at points to 1,658.

Turnover stood at 2,373 lots, while open interest totalled 29,557 contracts.

At 10 am, the FBM KLCI was down 2.89 points to 1,676.63 against Monday’s close of 1,679.52.
