KLCI Futures Close Lower In Line With Cash Market

KUALA LUMPUR, June 9 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, reflecting the performance of the underlying cash market.

The June 2026, July 2026 and December 2026 contracts slipped 4.5 points each to 1,669.0, 1,671.0 and 1,653.5, respectively, while September 2026 fell by four points to 1,652.0.

Turnover declined to 8,188 lots from 8,300 lots on Monday, while open interest expanded to 34,478 contracts from 34,045 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) ended 4.02 points lower at 1,675.50, compared with Monday’s close of 1,679.52.
