KLCI Futures Open Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, June 10 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened higher on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Wednesday, tracking the underlying cash market performance, which traded marginally higher. 

At 9.34 am, the June 2026 and July 2026 contracts were eight points better at 1,677.0 and 1,679.0, respectively, September 2026 gained 8.5 points to 1,660.5, while December 2026 gained 5.5 points to 1,659.

Turnover stood at 2,053 lots, while open interest totalled 29,679 contracts.

At 9.53 am, the FBM KLCI jumped 6.62 points to 1,682.12 against Tuesday’s close of 1,675.5.
