KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, June 23 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower today in line with the weaker cash market.

The June 2026, July 2026 and September 2026 contracts fell 19.5 points each to 1,684.0, 1,686.0, and 1,666.0, respectively, while the December 2026 contract slid 18.0 points to 1,668.0.

Turnover increased to 11,480 lots from 7,652 lots on Monday, while open interest widened to 43,343 contracts from 38,328 contracts yesterday.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI declined 1.23 per cent, or 20.92 points, to settle at the day’s low of 1,679.92 from Monday’s close of 1,700.84.
