KLCI Futures Open Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, July 2 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract opened higher on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives today, in line with the positive underlying cash market.

At 9.34 am, the July 2026 contract increased 8.5 points to 1,669.5, the August 2026 contract rose eight points to 1,670.0, the September 2026 contract jumped 10 points to 1,652.5, and the December 2026 contract climbed seven points to 1,653.0.

Turnover stood at 2,265 lots, while open interest totalled 30,837 contracts.

At 10.18 am, the FBM KLCI was 6.98 points higher at 1,663.81 from Wednesday’s close of 1,656.83.
