AIA Infinite Meets Growing High-Net-Worth Demand For Integrated Wealth Solutions

By K. Naveen Prabu

KUALA LUMPUR, July 7 (Bernama) -- AIA Malaysia is strengthening its presence in the high-net-worth (HNW) segment through AIA Infinite, which supports wealth preservation, legacy planning and multi-generational financial continuity as clients navigate an increasingly complex and globalised financial environment.

AIA Malaysia chief executive officer (CEO) Heng Zee Wang said that as wealth becomes more diversified and increasingly held across jurisdictions, HNW individuals are moving away from fragmented financial arrangements towards more integrated approaches that provide greater clarity, control and long-term continuity.

He explained that AIA Infinite comprises three core components — professional advisory, tailored solutions, and specialised services — designed to support clients' protection, wealth structuring, wealth preservation, and legacy planning needs.

The advisory component is delivered through AIA's Life Planners, backed by a proven track record of producing the highest number of Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) qualifiers for more than nine years, Heng said.

He said the proposition is complemented by a high-touch client experience, including Mobile Doctor services, dedicated Case Managers for smooth onboarding, curated client events, and strategic collaborations.

“AIA Infinite brings these elements together into an integrated framework, underpinned by AIA’s trust, scale and financial strength.

“As wealth in Malaysia becomes increasingly global, diversified and multi-jurisdictional, AIA Infinite is positioned to serve clients who seek comprehensive onshore solutions comparable to offshore offerings, while benefitting from the convenience, governance and continuity of a trusted Malaysian financial institution,” he told Bernama.

AIA Infinite Heritage Focuses on Legacy Planning

Among the solutions under the AIA Infinite Product Series proposition is AIA Infinite Heritage, a high-protection plan designed to support long-term wealth preservation and legacy planning.

Central to its design is a strong protection coverage structure, with features such as foreign currency indexing that allow policyholders to link their sum assured  to selected global currencies, helping mitigate the impact of currency fluctuations and economic uncertainty.

The plan provides 100 per cent premium allocation into professionally managed investment-linked and stewardship funds, with premiums invested from the outset across 21 available funds, alongside potential bonus enhancements, reinforcing its role in both protection and disciplined wealth accumulation.

It also offers flexible coverage terms up to ages 80, 100, or 120, with options for single or regular premium contributions aligned to clients’ financial planning needs.

In addition, policyholders have access to AIA Vitality, a science-backed programme that promotes healthier lifestyle choices while enhancing long-term insurance value.

AIA Infinite Prosperity Supports Multi-Generational Wealth Transfer

Another solution under the AIA Infinite product series is AIA Infinite Prosperity, a foreign currency-denominated investment-linked plan available in US dollar and Singapore dollar, aimed at supporting long-term wealth growth and preservation through exposure to global currencies and financial markets.

A key differentiating feature is its ability to facilitate structured, multi-generational wealth transfer within a single policy framework through the appointment of successive policy owners and insured individuals — supporting continuity in wealth management across generations.

The plan also offers professionally managed funds, including a first-in-market dividend payout fund, alongside flexible policy proceeds payout options such as lump sum distributions or annual payments for up to 10 years, without any additional cost incurred with AIA managing the distribution process.

AIA Infinite Khazanah Integrates Shariah-Compliant Legacy Planning

AIA Infinite Khazanah caters to clients seeking Shariah-compliant wealth solutions, combining financial planning with Islamic principles.

The solution reflects a growing segment of HNW individuals who seek to align their financial decisions with values, responsibility and long-term societal impact.

It incorporates foreign currency indexing and provides full allocation into professionally managed Shariah-compliant funds aimed at long-term accumulation.

Coverage options extend up to age 120, subject to account value, supporting extended legacy planning horizons.

Additionally, the plan incorporates a charitable component that enables certificate holders to allocate a portion of their protection payout or surplus towards charitable causes through AIA’s Penyala Harapan Charity Fund or for waqf-aligned purposes.

Certificate holders also benefit from access to AIA Vitality, promoting sustained health and wellness.

Growing Focus on Wealth Continuity and Legacy Planning

Heng said demand for more structured and resilient wealth planning solutions is rising as economic uncertainty and currency volatility shape financial priorities.

“In today’s environment, clients are placing greater importance on financial resilience, long-term wealth preservation and structured legacy planning to secure the future across generations,” he said.

“The AIA Infinite series reflects this shift by offering foreign currency-linked solutions, professionally managed investment options and flexible legacy structures, providing clients with greater clarity, control and continuity in how they manage and transfer wealth over time.”

Heng added that this commitment to innovation and scale is further reflected in AIA Malaysia’s recognition by the Malaysia Book of Records for the largest insurance coverage issued to an individual, with a sum assured of RM250 million.

For Muslim clients, AIA PUBLIC Takaful CEO Mohd Asri Omar said there is growing emphasis on ensuring wealth is not only preserved but managed responsibly and in alignment with Shariah principles.

“Wealth is increasingly regarded as an amanah, a trust to be safeguarded, nurtured and ultimately distributed in a manner that delivers barakah and lasting benefit to both family and society.

“AIA Infinite Khazanah reflects this ethos by offering Shariah-compliant solutions that integrate professionally managed funds with structured wealth and legacy planning, enabling individuals to extend their impact through purpose driven allocation, including charitable and waqf-aligned giving,” he said.

Demand for Integrated Wealth Planning Expected to Rise Among HNW Individuals

AIA Malaysia said the country’s HNW landscape is expected to continue evolving as wealth management priorities shift beyond accumulation towards long-term structuring, protection and intergenerational continuity.

“As financial environments become more interconnected, demand is expected to increase for integrated approaches that bring together protection, investment and legacy planning within a cohesive framework,” it said.

Against this backdrop, propositions such as AIA Infinite reflect a broader shift in the industry towards more holistic wealth ecosystems — where wealth, protection and legacy are managed not in isolation, but as part of a coordinated, long-term strategy, it added.
