Modon's Hudayriyat Project Tops 13 Bln Emirati Dirham In Sales
KUALA LUMPUR, July 8 (Bernama) -- Modon has recorded more than 13 billion Emirati dirham in sales within days of launching Hudayriyat Golf Estates on Hudayriyat Island in Abu Dhabi, setting what the company claimed is the highest publicly recorded sales value for a single residential project launch in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The gated community, comprising golf mansions, villas and townhouses, sold 1,700 residences within days of its launch.
In a statement, Modon said the strong response from buyers and investors underscores confidence in Abu Dhabi's real estate market and reinforces Hudayriyat Island's position as a premier lifestyle destination.
Modon Holding Chairman, Jassem Mohamed Bu Ataba Al Zaabi said the demand reflects growing global confidence in Abu Dhabi and the UAE, supported by the country's long-term vision, economic strength and commitment to sustainable development.
Meanwhile, its Group Chief Executive Officer, Bill O'Regan said buyers are increasingly seeking communities that combine quality homes with lifestyle, well-being and connectivity, adding that the development reflects Modon's strategy of creating integrated destinations that deliver long-term value for residents, investors and the wider city.
According to Modon, 15 per cent of buyers were non-UAE residents, while 81 per cent were first-time customers.
The development features Andalusian-inspired architecture, dual waterfront and fairway views, a 95-hectare golf course, and a 2.3-kilometre green spine linking amenities, including a clubhouse, wellness and fitness facilities, retail and leisure outlets, co-working spaces and a school.
Hudayriyat Golf Estates is located about 20 minutes from downtown Abu Dhabi and 30 minutes from Zayed International Airport, with direct access to Hudayriyat Island's sports and leisure attractions, including Surf Abu Dhabi, the Velodrome, and an extensive network of cycling, running and recreational trails.
