Nippon Kinzoku Launches "Fine Eco Metal" Electrical Steel Strips
KUALA LUMPUR, July 10 (Bernama) -- Nippon Kinzoku Co Ltd and its subsidiary, Nikkin Denji Kogyo Co Ltd, have launched a strategic sales initiative for their ultra-thin grain-orientated (GT Series) and non-orientated (ST Series) electrical steel strips under the "Fine Eco Metal" brand.
The company said the products are designed to support the growing shift towards electrification by reducing energy loss and improving efficiency in high-frequency applications.
In a statement, the company said "Fine Eco Metal" is a brand name for its proprietary "Eco-Product" series, certified under its internal environmental standards.
According to Nippon Kinzoku, the "Fine Eco Metal" range combines ultra-thin electrical steel with enhanced magnetic properties through proprietary rolling and advanced heat treatment technologies, enabling improved performance in next-generation electrical equipment.
The product lineup comprises the GT Series, intended for applications such as high-frequency transformers, reactors and magnetic shielding, and the ST Series, designed for high-speed motors used in drones, medical equipment, electric compressors and cryogenic systems.
The company said it expects the expanded product range to support the development of high-efficiency motors, next-generation power electronics and high-frequency transformers, contributing to more sustainable manufacturing.
