KUALA LUMPUR, July 14 (Bernama) -- Sin-Kung Logistics (SKL) Bhd has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) to strengthen cooperation in air connectivity and cargo development.

AAHK is a statutory body responsible for the operation and development of Hong Kong International Airport.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, SKL said the partnership aims to strengthen cooperation in air connectivity and cargo development across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and beyond.

“The parties will leverage their respective strengths to develop multimodal solutions and initiatives to expand the catchment area and may explore long-term opportunities to streamline operations and improve efficiency through digitalisation,” it said.

SKL said the MoU is effective from the date of execution and is valid for two years unless terminated earlier by either party by providing the other party with at least 30 days’ prior written notice.

The MoU provides a basis for the company and AAHK to establish a mutual understanding of their respective strategies and business needs, to foster a broader understanding of the benefits and opportunities arising from the collaboration, while leveraging each party’s expertise and capabilities.
