15th SSM National Conference Returns With Focus On Navigating Business In The Digital Era

KUALA LUMPUR, July 17 (Bernama) -- The Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) will host the 15th edition of the SSM National Conference (SSMNC), reaffirming its commitment to advancing thought leadership on corporate governance, digital transformation and sustainable business practices in Malaysia.

The two-day hybrid conference, scheduled on Aug 18 and 19, 2026 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and online, aims to provide a dynamic platform for corporate professionals to engage in meaningful discourse while gaining practical insights from industry leaders, regulators and governance professionals.

With the theme, "Navigating Business in the Digital Era: Trust. Efficiency. Over the years, SSMNC has made its mark as an earnest discourse and networking platform for business and corporate professionals to remain informed and connected in an evolving business landscape.

SSM Chief Executive Officer Datuk Nor Azimah Abdul Aziz said the digital era has created unprecedented opportunities for businesses to innovate, expand and compete, while demanding greater accountability, stronger governance as well as a deeper commitment to build and maintain trust.

"'Trust. Efficiency. Sustainability', is not merely this year's conference theme. It reflects three business imperatives that must advance together. Digital transformation without trust weakens confidence. Efficiency without good governance compromises integrity. Sustainability without innovation limits long-term growth.
