KUALA LUMPUR, July 21 (Bernama) -- Bursa Malaysia opened higher on Tuesday, as renewed foreign inflows are expected to continue supporting the recovery of the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI).

At 9.05 am, the FBM KLCI gained 1.40 points to 1,723.69 from last Monday’s close of 1,722.29.

Hong Leong Investment Bank Bhd said resilient domestic fundamentals and renewed foreign inflows should continue supporting the KLCI’s recovery; however, near-term gains may be tempered by external headwinds.
