KLCI Futures Open Marginally Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, July 22 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts opened lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Wednesday.

At 9.32 am, the July 2026 contract eased by 2.5 points to 1,718.0, the August 2026 contract declined 1.0 point to 1,719.5, the September 2026 contract gave up two points to 1,698.5, and the December 2026 contract was down three points to 1,700.0.

Turnover stood at 1,320 lots, while open interest totalled 41,788 contracts.

At 9.53 am, the FBM KLCI fell 4.11 points to 1,716.26 from Tuesday's close of 1,720.37.
