GDB Holdings Bags RM439.4 Mln Mont Kiara Development Project
KUALA LUMPUR, July 22 (Bernama) -- GDB Holdings Bhd has secured a RM439.4 million contract to construct the Wolo Hotel & Residences Mont Kiara KL project in Kuala Lumpur from Magma Kiara Sdn Bhd.
In a Bursa Malaysia filing today, the construction group said its wholly owned subsidiary, Grand Dynamic Builders Sdn Bhd, has been appointed as the main contractor for a 60-storey mixed-use tower.
“The development encompasses 378 serviced apartments, 98 serviced suites, a 63-room hotel, retail spaces and ancillary facilities,” it said.
GDB said construction is scheduled to begin on Aug 22, 2026, and be completed by Dec 22, 2030.
It said the new RM439.4 million contract win is in addition to and substantially enlarges GDB’s existing total order book beyond the RM620 million recorded as at March 31, 2026, underpinning robust earnings visibility to 2030.
“Looking ahead, our diversified project pipeline, spanning premium high-rise property, industrial logistics, hospitals, and infrastructure, positions us well to capture tremendous opportunities for growth across Peninsular and East Malaysia,” said GDB executive director and acting group managing director Andy Lai Wee Young.
GDB added that its order book is diversified across multiple sectors, with major ongoing developments progressing ahead of schedule, including KL International Hospital and Logistics Hub Plot B in Shah Alam.
In addition to its existing order book, the group’s tender pipeline stands at RM10 billion as at July 8, 2026, comprising prospective projects spanning industrial, data centre, commercial, mixed-use, infrastructure, and residential sectors.
