Kerjaya Prospek Unit Secures RM52.5 Mln Subcontract In Klang Valley

KUALA LUMPUR, July 23 (Bernama) -- Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd’s (KPGB) wholly-owned subsidiary, Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM52.5 million subcontract for the execution and completion of civil, structural and basic low-voltage mechanical and electrical (M&E) works.

KPGB said the contract covers the execution, completion, testing, rectification of defects and all obligations incidental thereto in respect of the civil, structural and basic low-voltage M&E works for the proposed construction of a new 275-kilovolt consumer landing station for a data centre in the Klang Valley.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the group said the contract will commence on July 23, 2026, and is scheduled for completion on Jan 9, 2027.

It added that the project is expected to contribute positively to its revenue over the next year while further strengthening its existing order book.
