KLCI Futures Close Mostly Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, July 23 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed mostly higher on Wednesday in line with the cash market. 

The July 2026 contract rose four points to 1,721.0, August 2026 and December gained three points each to 1,721.0 and 1,703.5, but September 2026 lost 17 points to 1,700.5.

Turnover increased to 6,297 lots compared with 5,802 on Wednesday, while open interest edged up to 45,316 contracts from 45,095 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 3.22 points to 1,714.59 from Wednesday's close of 1,711.37.
