KLCI Futures Open Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, July 31 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened higher on Friday.

At 9.42 am, the July 2026 contract added 7.5 points to 1,724.0, August 2026 and December 2026 contracts surged 7.0 points each to 1,725.0 and 1,706.0 respectively, and September 2026 contract climbed 6.5 points to 1,704.0.

Turnover stood at 3,513 lots, while open interest totalled 45,365 contracts.

At 10.05 am, the FBM KLCI rose 0.54 of a point to 1,720.94 from yesterday’s close of 1,720.40.
