KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, July 31 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher on Friday.

The July 2026 contract added 6.0 points to 1,722.5, the August 2026 contract gained 14.5 points to 1,732.5, the September 2026 contract increased 13 points to 1,710.5, and December 2025 contract improved 15 points to 1,714.0.

Turnover decreased to 14,966 lots compared with 30,474 on Thursday, while open interest fell to 54,476 contracts from 72,632 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 4.50 points to 1,724.90 from yesterday’s close of 1,720.40.
