KLCI Futures Open Mostly Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 4 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were mostly lower in early trade on Tuesday.

At 9.27 am, the August 2026 contract slid two points to 1,726, the September 2026 contract inched down one point to 1,706 and the December 2026 contract was flat at 1,710, while the March 2027 contract was untraded.

Turnover stood at 1,485 lots, while open interest totalled 41,753 contracts.

At 9.48 am, the FBM KLCI slid 0.94 point to 1,724.79 from Monday’s close of 1,725.73.
