FBM KLCI Futures Higher In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 5 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were higher in early trade on Wednesday.

At 9.27 am, the August 2026 contract climbed 15 points to 1,747, the September 2026 contract gained 14 points to 1,725, the December 2026 contract was 11.5 points higher at 1,726, and the March 2027 contract grew nine points to 1,706.

Turnover stood at 1,485 lots, while open interest totalled 41,753 contracts.

At 9.47 am, the FBM KLCI soared 10.59 points to 1,743.25 from Tuesday's close of 1,732.66.
