Nestcon Unit Secures RM243 Mln Construction Contract In Penang
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 5 (Bernama) -- Nestcon Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Nestcon Builders Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM243 million construction contract from EXSIM Waterfront Sdn Bhd in George Town, Penang.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction and engineering company said the contract involves the construction of one block of a 57-storey serviced apartment.
It said the work is scheduled to commence on Jan 18, 2027, and is expected to be completed within 35 months by Dec 17, 2029.
“The defect liability period shall be 27 months from the date of issuance of Certificate of Practical Completion,” it said.
Nestcon added that the contract is expected to contribute positively to the net assets per share, earnings per share and gearing of the company throughout the duration of the works.
