FBM KLCI Futures Higher In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 7 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened higher in early trade on Friday. 

At 9.26 am, the August 2026 contract rose 1.5 points to 1,735.5, the September 2026 contract gained 5.5 points to 1,717, the December 2026 contract added five points to 1,718.5, and the March 2027 contract edged up half a point to 1,699.0.

Turnover stood at 2,103, while open interest totalled 44,279 contracts.

At 9.48 am, the FBM KLCI declined 4.57 points to 1,732.58 from Thursday’s close of 1,737.15.
