FBM KLCI Futures Higher In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 12 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened on a positive note on Wednesday. 

At 9.08 am, the August 2026 and September 2026 contracts added six points each to 1,739.0 and 1,717.0, respectively, December 2026 contract rose five points to 1,718.0 and March 2027 contract gained two points to 1,700.0.

Turnover stood at 955, while open interest totalled 40,094 contracts.

At 9.30 am, the FBM KLCI rose 0.62 of a point to 1,732.08 from Tuesday’s close of 1,731.46.
