EITA Resources' Unit Bags RM62.3 Mln Works Contract From Prasarana

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 12 (Bernama) -- EITA Resources Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary EITA Elevator (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has accepted a letter of award (LoA) from Prasarana Malaysia Bhd for a works contract worth RM62.3 million.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the elevator, escalator and busduct systems maintenance service provider said the contract involves the proposed upgrading of existing lifts and escalators at light rail transit (LRT) stations from Gombak to Kelana Jaya including the Subang depot of Kelana Jaya line.

“The LoA is expected to be completed within 48 months from the date of commencement or the issuance of the notice to proceed.

“The contract will not have any effect on share capital and/or shareholdings of EITA Resources, while the board envisages that the LOA is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings of the group for the financial year ending Sept 30, 2026,” it added.
