FBM KLCI Futures Mostly Higher In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 19 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened mostly higher on Wednesday.

At 9.30 am, the September 2026 and August contracts gained a point each to 1,725.5 and 1,705.0, respectively, while March 2027 added 1.5 points to 1,688.0, and December 2026 stood at 1,705.0.

Turnover was at 1,845, while open interest totalled 39,202 contracts.

At 9.48 am, the FBM KLCI eased by 2.21 of a point to 1,731.24 from Tuesday’s close of 1,733.36.
