FBM KLCI Futures Higher In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 20 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened higher on Thursday.

At 9.30 am, the August 2026, September 2026 and March 2027 contracts gained six points each to 1,736.5, 1,715.0, and 1,697.0, respectively, while December 2026 added five points to 1,715.5.

Turnover was at 1,683, while open interest totalled 41,606 contracts.

At 9.48 am, the FBM KLCI rose by 3.18 points to 1,734.50 from Wednesday’s close of 1,731.32.
