Mary Kay Highlights Business Transformation, Digital Expansion
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 20 (Bernama) -- Mary Kay Inc (Mary Kay) has announced a series of business milestones as part of its efforts to modernise its operations and strengthen digital engagement with consumers and its Independent Beauty Consultants.
In a statement, the company said the transformation includes the launch of Mary Kay My Shop, investments in technology and research, next-generation product innovation and initiatives aimed at expanding entrepreneurial opportunities.
Mary Kay Chief Executive Officer, Ryan Rogers said the company is investing in technology and research to create seamless digital experiences while preserving the personal connections and sense of community that have defined the brand.
He said the initiatives build on Mary Kay's more than 60-year entrepreneurial legacy and aim to reshape how consumers engage, shop and share while creating opportunities for its Independent Beauty Consultants to operate in an increasingly digital environment.
Mary Kay has expanded its digital commerce platform, My Shop, to Canada, Mexico and Spain as part of a broader transformation aimed at engaging next-generation consumers and strengthening opportunities for its Independent Beauty Consultants, following its launch in the United States and Germany in 2025.
The company is also expanding its use of artificial intelligence (AI) through its Foundation Finder, which analyses facial features through a mobile phone to provide personalised foundation shade recommendations. The tool is available globally and uses 151 facial feature points for shade detection.
In March 2026, Mary Kay launched its Global Social Squad, a pilot programme bringing together more than 70 Independent Beauty Consultants from 15 markets across North America, Asia Pacific, Latin America and Europe to create social content around product education, beauty trends and inspiration.
The company said its broader transformation also includes next-generation beauty products, responsible packaging and ingredient sourcing, as well as efforts to attract younger entrepreneurs through a combination of digital tools, flexible business opportunities and community-driven experiences.
Mary Kay said its purpose-driven initiatives continue through its Pink Changing Lives programme, which has contributed more than US$230 million in monetary and in-kind support since 2008 to cancer research, domestic violence support and economic empowerment initiatives worldwide. (US$1=RM4.04)
