FBM KLCI Futures Opened Mixed In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 21 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened mixed on Friday.

At 9.37 am, the August 2026 contract was unchanged from yesterday’s close at 1,738.5. September 2026 inched up a point to 1,718.5 and December 2026 added two points to 1,719.0. March 2027 was 2.5 points lower at 1,696.5.

Turnover was at 2,135, while open interest totalled 41,814 contracts.

At 9.59 am, the FBM KLCI eased by 0.30 of-a-point to 1,736.41 from Thursday’s close of 1,736.71.
