KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 28 (Bernama) -- ZICO Trust (M) Bhd has appointed former Deputy Inspector General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Mazlan Lazim as its chairman, effective Aug 14, 2026.

ZICO Trust said the appointment forms part of the company’s continued focus on strengthening board stewardship and institutional oversight to support its long-term development as a provider of bespoke trust and fiduciary services.

Managing director Jeevan M. Sundaram said Mazlan’s experience in leading and overseeing complex institutions -- where accountability, sound judgement and responsible stewardship are fundamental -- will provide valuable insight to ZICO Trust.
