AmanahRaya Appoints Mohd Iskandar Dzulkarnain As Group Managing Director
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 1 (Bernama) -- Amanah Raya Bhd has appointed Datuk Mohd Iskandar Dzulkarnain Ramli as its group managing director, effective today.
The government-owned trustee company involved in estate planning, wills, trusts and corporate trustee services said in a statement that Mohd Iskandar brings more than 18 years of corporate leadership experience spanning internal audit, risk management, corporate planning, property development, finance and business operations.
This includes senior roles at Sapura Crest Petroleum Bhd, Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Bhd, Khazanah Nasional Bhd Group and Bina Darulaman Bhd.
“In 2023, Mohd Iskandar joined AmanahRaya as group chief corporate services officer, providing strategic oversight of the group’s corporate support functions.
“He subsequently served as acting managing director of AmanahRaya-Kenedix REIT Manager Sdn Bhd (as a REIT Manager for AmanahRaya REIT), before being appointed managing director in March 2025,” it said.
Mohd Iskandar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the International Islamic University Malaysia and is a Certified Chartered Financial Modelling Professional (CFMP), besides being a member of the Malaysian Association of Risk and Insurance Management (MARIM).
AmanahRaya chairman Datuk Seri Dr Vaseehar Hassan Abdul Razack said Mohd Iskandar’s extensive experience and understanding of the organisation’s strategic priorities would be invaluable in strengthening the organisation and building greater resilience for the future.
