KLCI Futures Close Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 7 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher on Monday.

The September 2026 contract rose one point to 1,687.0, October 2026 gained 1.5 points to 1,686.5, December 2026 increased two points to 1,692.50, and March 2027 added 2.5 points to 1,677.0.

Turnover fell to 4,112 lots from 4,745 lots on Friday, while open interest declined to 42,025 contracts from 43,322 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 6.69 points, or 0.39 per cent, to 1,714.79, compared with Friday’s close of 1,708.10.
