KLCI Futures End Mixed

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 9 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed mixed on Wednesday.

The September 2026 contract rose 10.5 points to 1,681.5, October 2026 remained unchanged at 1,680.5, December 2026 increased 5.0 points to 1,686.0, while March 2027 declined 15 points to 1,671.0.

Turnover dipped to 6,414 lots from 6,573 lots on Tuesday, while open interest was lower at 44,138 contracts versus 44,267 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 0.06 of a point, or 0.003 per cent, to 1,714.34 from Tuesday’s close of 1,714.40.
