RegASK Opens 2027 Regulatory Affairs And Compliance Survey
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 11 (Bernama) -- RegASK, an artificial intelligence (AI)-native regulatory platform for life sciences and consumer products companies, has opened its 2027 State of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Survey, which examines regulatory risks, priorities and resources facing organisations across regulated industries.
The survey follows findings from the 2026 study, which found that 37 per cent of organisations had missed at least one regulatory requirement in the previous year, while only seven per cent could identify a new regulation and execute a response plan within 48 hours.
“Regulatory teams are facing a faster pace of change, greater complexity and real consequences when requirements are missed,” said RegASK founder and chief executive officer Caroline Shleifer in a statement.
She said the survey would examine where artificial intelligence (AI) is delivering measurable value in regulatory work, how governance is evolving and whether AI is helping organisations become more agile.
The 2027 survey will examine whether the gap between regulatory workload and resources is narrowing, as well as how AI adoption is reshaping regulatory functions and their strategic roles within organisations. It will also assess the impact of tariffs and trade policy changes on regulatory operations and market access.
A new Regulatory Agility Index will benchmark how effectively organisations are equipped to respond to regulatory changes, with participants able to receive their individual scores alongside the full report.
The survey is open to regulatory, compliance and business leaders across regulated industries worldwide until Oct 2. Findings will be published in the 2027 State of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Report later this year.
Regulatory affairs, compliance and quality professionals across life sciences and consumer products are invited to participate. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete, with responses kept confidential and reported only in aggregate.
