KLCI Futures End Higher In Line With Underlying Cash Market

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 22 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher on Tuesday in line with the underlying cash market’s performance.

The September 2026 contract gained 13 points to 1,673.0, the October 2026 contract firmed 13.5 points to 1,672.0, and the December 2026 and the March 2027 contracts increased 12 points each to 1,677.5 and 1,662.5, respectively.

Turnover eased to 8,146 lots from 10,117 lots on Monday, while open interest shrank to 48,706 contracts from 51,310 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 16.56 points, or 0.99 per cent, to 1,683.50 from Monday’s close of 1,666.94.
