EGH International Launches IPO Prospectus EN Route To ACE Market Listing
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 24 (Bernama) -- Interior fit-out services firm EGH International Bhd (EGHI) has launched its prospectus in conjunction with its initial public offering (IPO) and planned listing on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia on Oct 16, 2026.
EGHI said in a statement today that the IPO comprises 360 million shares, consisting of 240 million new shares and an offer for sale of 120 million existing shares at 16 sen per share.
“The IPO comprises 80 million shares, of which 50 million are allocated to the Malaysian public and 30 million to eligible directors and employees, as well as other persons who have contributed to the group,” it said.
The remaining 280 million shares are allocated for the institutional offering through private placement to institutional and selected investor, EGHI said.
Upon completion of the IPO, the RM38.4 million in gross proceeds from the issuance of new shares will be used to construct a new head office, warehouse and Interior Premium Outlet showroom in Puchong, Selangor, the group said.
EGHI added that the proceeds will also be used to repay borrowings and fund general working capital for business expansion, with the remainder allocated for estimated listing expenses.
“The new five-storey industrial building, to be built on approximately 2.67 acres with a built-up area of about 130,000 square feet, is expected to support the group’s growing project volumes and retail footprint,” it said.
Group managing director Datuk Weslie Lim said the prospectus launch marks a milestone in EGHI’s growth.
“The proceeds will strengthen our balance sheet and fund our expansion, positioning us to pursue larger, high-specification interior fit-out projects and expand our business-to-consumer (B2C) retail footprint,” he said.
Applications for the IPO opened today and will close at 5 pm on Oct 5, with balloting expected on Oct 7 and allotment of the IPO shares targeted for Oct 14.
Berjaya Securities Sdn Bhd is the principal adviser, sponsor, sole underwriter and sole placement agent for the IPO exercise.
