PM Anwar To Present Khazanah’s Megatrends Paper To Cabinet This Friday

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 5 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will present Khazanah Nasional Bhd’s initial paper on the megatrends forum at the Cabinet meeting this Friday.

“It's a good forum, and I will present your initial paper on the megatrends at the Cabinet meeting this Friday,” he said in his opening remarks at Khazanah Megatrends Forum (KMF) 2026 here today.

Anwar, who is also Finance Minister, said KMF frames key global challenges through the lens of power, including geopolitics, climate change, demographics, inequality and technology.

Themed  'Who's Got the Power? Watching the Watchmen in an Imbalanced World', KMF 2026 is a deep examination of where power resides, how it is exercised, and how it can be counterbalanced across finance, technology, energy, and governance.

KMF helps participants consider how major global changes affect markets, companies, public policy, economic development and society.
