Fifth MADANI Budget Maintains Resolve On Strengthening Economy, Translating Growth To Better Life -- Anwar
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 7 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the Fifth MADANI Budget is based on a clear resolve to strengthen the nation’s economy and translate growth into a better life for the people.
Anwar said he is aware that economic growth alone is insufficient if some citizens still face rising living costs.
Therefore, he said that Budget 2027 will continue to focus on alleviating burdens, protecting the people, creating opportunities, and ensuring that the benefits of development are felt more equitably.
“I will present all details this Friday, Insya-Allah,” he said in a post on X today.
Earlier today, Anwar, who is also the Finance Minister, briefed the media on the MADANI 2027 Budget to explain the MADANI government’s direction and efforts for the people.
The Prime Minister will present the Budget 2027 in the Dewan Rakyat this Friday at 3.30 PM.
