Advancecon Partners ACEN C&I To Offer Energy Options To Industrial Park Tenants

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 (Bernama) -- Construction and infrastructure company Advancecon Holdings Bhd has partnered ACEN C&I MY Holdings Sdn Bhd to provide clean energy options to tenants of Silver Valley Technology Park (SVTP) in Ipoh, Perak.

A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was formalised between its unit Advancecon Development Sdn Bhd, the master developer of SVTP, and ACEN C&I MY Holdings today.

Advancecon Holdings managing director Phum Boon Eng said in a statement today that the company is taking its infrastructure expertise into SVTP.

“Manufacturers need more than development-ready land — they need an ecosystem that helps them succeed.

“Our role is to anticipate tomorrow’s needs by bringing together the right partners, technologies and capabilities that make it easier for businesses to invest, operate and grow,” Phum said.

ACEN C&I HK Ltd chief executive officer Kelvin Yuen said industrial parks are critical drivers of the energy transition.

“Integrating renewable energy solutions into the original design of industrial parks is most practical for driving down costs and achieving ESG goals in the long run.

“Our collaboration for SVTP presents an opportunity to work with responsible industrial energy users to drive sustainable profitability and growth,” he said.

SVTP is a 1,092.65-hectare integrated industrial development, with its 330.22-hectare first phase jointly developed by Advancecon Holdings and Perak Corporation Bhd.
